The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can transform from a single to a double stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection can be configured to a triple travel system with the addition of an infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in total and is the top-rated stroller. This model utilizes Baby Jogger's comfortable, breathable TENCEL fabric that aids in thermal regulation and are sustainably sourced. It has a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It's 20% smaller and lighter than the leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a convenient magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the easiest to adjust and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline and come with a footwell adjustment knob to allow you to position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious however we would prefer it had a latch that was more secure. The bin is easy to open, however the zippers can be frustrating because they have to be unfastened and then refastened after every use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame's side, lower than the handlebar. It is sandal- and barefoot friendly and an improvement over the awkward levers for brakes that other brands use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that accepts two infant car seats making it an ideal alternative for twins, or for parents with a single child and a new baby due. It can fit most infant car seats from the major brands by using an adapter. We tested it on Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent option for families who already have car seats, but are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you might be better served with another convertible stroller for this scenario.
